I'm Leon, an accredited celebrant and proposal planner and photographer based in Llandudno. Here is what planning a proposal with me looks like, and how it differs from booking a decorator or a photographer alone.
What a Proposal Planner Actually Does
A good planner helps you answer the big questions: where, when, how to get your partner there, and what to say. With me, we talk through your story and your ideas first, so every choice feels natural to your relationship rather than borrowed from someone else's.
Planning the Place and the Timing
I know North Wales well, from Rhoscolyn and Llanddwyn on Anglesey to Llyn Gwynant, Betws-y-Coed and the Dee Valley near Llangollen. We will think about light, tides, parking and quiet corners. How to plan a surprise proposal covers the cover story side of it.
Planning the Words
This is where I am different from most planners. As a celebrant, I help you turn your feelings into a love letter, which I read aloud to your partner before you ask. My camera rests at my waist while it is read, then comes up for the question.
