I'm Leon, a celebrant and proposal photographer based in Llandudno. Most of my proposals happen on beaches, lakeshores and headlands across North Wales, but some couples feel most like themselves on their own patio, under the tree they planted, or in the kitchen where they first danced. That is just as welcome.

A home proposal takes away the travel, the weather worries and the chance of strangers wandering into the moment. Your partner is relaxed because nothing looks unusual. You are calmer because you know every step, every door and where the light falls in the evening. A garden at golden hour can look as soft as any beach.
How a Guided Proposal Fits Into Your Home
Before the day, we talk through your story and I write your love letter from your own feelings and memories, as I explain in how to write a proposal love letter. On the day, I arrive at the time we agreed, introduce myself, and read the letter aloud. My camera stays at my waist while the letter is read, so those words stay yours alone. Once it is put away, the camera comes up for the question, the answer and everything that follows.
Little Things That Help at Home
Tidy just one corner rather than the whole house, so it still feels like you. Think about where you will both stand, and which window or patch of lawn catches the light. Keep the phones somewhere else. If anyone else lives with you, plan where they will be, and lean on how to keep a proposal a secret for the cover story.
