Nervous about proposing? You are in very good company. A racing heart before the biggest question of your life is completely normal, and it usually means you care deeply about getting it right.
I'm Leon, an accredited celebrant and proposal photographer based in Llandudno. Nerves are exactly why the Guided Proposal Ceremony exists, so here is how it helps.
Why the Nerves Arrive
Most people worry about the words: forgetting them, rushing them or not saying what they really feel. Others worry about the ring, the weather or being watched. All of it is natural.
Talk It Through First
Every guided proposal begins with personal guidance and support. We talk through your ideas, your story and what you want to share, so you arrive knowing everything has been thoughtfully planned.
Let the Letter Carry Your Feelings
Together we craft a bespoke Love Letter from your feelings, memories and words. On the day, I introduce myself and read it aloud to your partner, with my camera resting at my waist. Then I pop it away and lift my camera, and all you need to do is ask. How to write a proposal love letter shows how the words come together.
Keep the Setting Calm
A quiet place helps. Llyn Geirionydd on a weekday, the shore at Llanfairfechan or your own garden can all feel private. Your dog is welcome too, and if it rains, we play it by ear or simply wait until it stops.
Breathe and Slow Down
When the moment comes, take a breath and look at your partner. Nobody is timing you. What to say when you propose has a few simple lines if you want them.
Anywhere You Choose
You can choose anywhere: your home or garden, a special place elsewhere in the UK, or abroad.
Beyond the Question
Your proposal also brings 10% off an Elope with Leon elopement whenever you are ready.
You do not have to do this alone, and with a little help you will do grand. The Guided Proposal Ceremony is £695.00 on the services page, so tell me what you want to say and we will shape it together.
